Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to publicize next month's boxing match.
Ex two-time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters met for the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really proceeding.
