The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Soldiers Party

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master Brennan Lee Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with rich lore, a diverse cast of characters, and a gripping narrative including angels, evil spirits, and malevolent powers growing in power within Dol-Makjar.

Note: Spoilers for Episode 3 of Campaign 4 lie ahead.

The Warrior Group Unveiled

Episode 3 finished on a dramatic pause and introduced the first table of characters who will branch out from the central cast to begin their own adventure, apart from the other two tables.

The Soldiers table consists of the determined fighter (portrayed by the voice actor), the nimble rogue (Laura Bailey), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), Wicander (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie).

Why Split the Party?

Considering 13 cast members, it was evident from the beginning that having everyone at one table would be unfeasible.

Hence, the first four episodes of this story serve as an Prelude, intertwining the personal journeys before dividing into three smaller tables: Fighters, Schemers, and Questers.

What Defines the Warrior Group

According to Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for players who are drawn to a typically action-packed fight-heavy gameplay experience where diplomatic options are scarce.

Upon first impression, characters like the squeamish cleric the cleric might seem unsuited, but the actions of the latest installment show why these five characters are best suited for the warrior group.

Motivations for Departure

First, the team understands precisely where to proceed after a brutal initial meeting with the enemy group.

A former ally of Thjazi—whose passing started the story’s plot—used The Crow Keepers for his personal gain, breaking into the hidden lair, striking Thimble, and swiping all the magical artifacts to auction.

The antagonist then cleared his debts and fled to a fortified location in the remote area, above Dol-Makjar, with Teor’s brother pursuing him.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each character has a individual motive to depart the metropolitan area:

  • Thimble, as the close ally and trusted friend, wants revenge.
  • Kattigan has experience in the region and cautions that it is a hostile place.
  • The strong character and Wicander, having resisted his relatives’ demands to kill the target and instead saved him, have no safe haven.
  • But, their position as key figures in House Halovar could help the party access places they normally couldn’t.
  • Additionally, Teor vowed a eternal obligation to The savior for his rescue and will now go with him wherever.

Fugitives

Finally, all of them are hunted by the powers that rule Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making lingering locally dangerous:

  • The agile adventurer and Kattigan are notorious outlaws.
  • The warrior and The healer turned against House Halovar and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
  • Teor is marked for death by the clan.

This leaves them no alternative but to head to the northern region in quest for the antagonist.

Upcoming Developments

According to episode three’s Cooldown, we find out that the warrior group will be absent in the upcoming installment, leaving the rest of the players to form the Explorers and Planners parties.

Audiences can anticipate discovering which characters will be in which group in Campaign 4’s concluding setup installment, released on the upcoming Thursday.
